Will a 305 tire fit a 9.5 rim?
Now that being said every wheel width has a ideal tire size to run, for instance you can pair a 19×9. 5 wheel with a 305/35/19 tire but your only really using the same as a 285 tire at most. Yeah, this. There’s no real performance benefit to running a 305 on a 9.5″ wheel.
Will a 315 rim fit a 10 inch rim?
Its not a 10 but it is a 10.5, they fit perfect IMO, on a 10 inch rim they would fit fine and give the bulge look that i particularly like.
Can you put a 315 tire on a 10 rim?
Keep in mind drag radials have softer sidewalls so they could stand up to the extra bulge but probably not the 10″ wide rim. 315 tires need an 11″ wide rim but I’ve seen some mustangs with 315’s on a 10 1/2″ rim and they bulge alot. I would recommend a 295 series tire to be safe and to produce the most even tire wear.
Will a 295 tire fit a 9.5 rim?
On a 9.5″ wheel, 285mm would be ideal considering the factory puts a 275mm on a 9″ wheel. The extra half inch is roughly 12.7mm wider, which would correlate to a 287.7mm tire, so a 295 isn’t out of the question or ‘crazy talk’.
Can I put a 10 inch wide tire on a 8 inch rim?
You can’t even fit a 10 wide tire on an 8 inch wide rim I wouldn’t think. You can go one inch without much of a problem typically, but two I don’t think would work. If it does fit, I would expect a ton of sidewall punctures but your rim being okay. But if you run it on a 10 inch wide rim, it would be like “normal”.
Will a 295 tire fit a 10 inch rim?
295 will fit fine on a 10 inch rim even though it is at the lower limit for a 295 tire. The overall diameter has nothing to do with rim width. The only thing with running a wider tire on a narrower rim is the pressure range of the tire available to get optimum contact patch.
Will a 295 tire fit a 9 inch rim?
295 will fit on a 9″ wheel but it’s not recommended by the manufacturer. It will have a slight bulge on the sidewall and tire might wear out sooner but it will fit.
